Jeeping round Adygeia
Fishing, jeeping and tours round Adygeia and Krasnodar region.
Active rest and tourism in Northern Caucasia
Jeeping. We can provide it!
Let’s set off before muddy ground dries out!
Folk humour.
Uazing* – a type of jeeping
Uazing* – a type of jeeping
In fact, this type of travel is not our invention, it has been popular all over Russia’s enormous territory. What we have come up with is the word ‘Uazing’, which once was used by one of our holiday-makers, who couldn’t bear in mind the UAZ car make half of the time of her travel with us, and combined the two words in one.
* UAZ - a Russian-made Jeep (translator’s note)
We have a goal, and it is worth pursuing!
Many think that it is monkey business just a waste of machinery and time, but we don’t think so. For jeeping ventures we have certain destinations: a picturesque and hard-to-reach waterfall or a cave not frequented by tourists or just a great observation point on a rock with a breathtaking view of the main mountain range of the Caucasus.
Real adventure!
Some people will find nothing exciting in standing knee-deep in the mud or being in a car bogging down up to the motor hood, however, they have never got out of the mud victoriously starting the car engine and hearing acclamatory shouts of the crew completely covered with mud, the medicinal mud, that you can find all over the region.
Any level of complexity. Suitable for all.
What makes jeeping popular is a very simple principle: anyone can participate. Complexity varies: some tours are on pleasure cars and last several hours, others are tough long-time camping tours. The only thing that may be required of the one who decided to take up jeeping is the desire to have new and strong emotions.
Reliability and safety above all!
Be sure we don’t go to places we haven’t visited before without tourists. We drive along all routes on cars with drivers and use the routes approved for numerous car races. Those who drive our cars many times were the first to finish races and won trophy-raid competitions on jeeps.
It’s better to go by car without much comfort than walk comfortably
Jeeping (in Russian ‘uazing’) as a form of tourism appeared not long ago. Earlier it existed as part of other kinds of tourism to give travelers a lift to a target route or on the exit from the route. Guided by the commonly used saying ‘It’s
better to go by car without comfort than walk comfortably’ many people took up jeeping once they learnt about it instead of other kinds of tourism.
Spectate or participate? Your choice
We provide transfers to the route and from the route for groups regardless of the number of tourists in a group.
In our region travelers have a unique opportunity to watch jeeping as a sport – that is being spectators – instead of being participants. Information about such opportunities is presented in the calendar of events for the current year.
We go, go, go!

Fishing with the Fishing-maykop team
Good day to all. We’ll tell you about our family-fishing experience. Today we went to a beautiful water pond on the territory of the Topolia guest house in Vostochny, Belorechensk region.
As always, everything was great!
Even those, who had no luck, got fish thanks from Andrei Chumakov, who saw about it! It means that here they welcome all fishermen.
For the first time we tried to catch a mirror carp, we got fishing rods and instructions, and then it wasn’t really important if we managed to catch or not as we were extremely pleased with how they treated us.
So we decided that if we feel like fishing again we’ll contact these guys!
Thanks, and see you!
The trip in a group to Ust-Sakhrajsky waterfalls
To describe it as cool means to say nothing because it was unbelievably cool! I couldn’t imagine that somewhere in Russia just 200 km away from Krasnodar can be much more exciting than abroad!
The mountains are amazing !!! Magnificent and powerful !!!
The food we were eating was cooked on bonfire, and water was from a mountain river !!!!! And NOTHING was wrong with us !!! Because it was so pure !!!!!
I am looking forward to my next vacation to sign in for a hiking expedition !!!
Special gratitude and thanks to Andrei, our guide and driver; the whole group were feeling comfortable as at home in the company of this smart and experienced person!
Thank you again!
Fishing with the Fishing-maykop instructors
Hello everybody! With other guys we went fishing to a pay-pond in the Chernyshov farm to catch common carp. A while ago I couldn’t fish at all. From time to time I went fishing but hardly caught any fish; and when sometimes I caught some – they were funny little ones. Now I am only learning how to fish properly but the catch was poor comparing to the ones I had before. Usually a good catch of crucian carp. However, this time fish didn’t even bite or nibble. Not a single crucian carp. And, it was not just me, who had bad luck, but those who were fishing next to me just as well. Some of them managed to catch a few little crucian carps. One of the men said ‘that old buddy has caught one common carp but on the whole the day was lousy’. I was fishing from the bank using just an ordinary fishing rod with a float ground-angling and otherwise. It seems water in Adygeia and in Kuban region is not warm enough yet, on the fish standards. Personally, I hate when it’s hot, much prefer when it is chilly, therefore I liked this spring but fish obviously have a different opinion and are not used to cool weather – and don’t want to bite. Probably it would have made sense to buy worms for bait before the fishing: in this weather carp would appreciate them more than dredge corn. Though I am not sure, they say that now fish are reluctant to bite in all water basins. On the other hand, I saw scenic countryside and had a great time!
Thanks a million to Andrei and Makhmud – excellent travel arrangements. We were fishing at sunset on the western bank.
Travelling in a jeep to Adygeia mountains
Although the trip to the rock Chyertov Palets was not in our plans but the impressions we got will last until next year.
It took us a very long time to get there in a jeep, and it was an unforgettable journey – going up along all these paths in the mountains, the car is roaring and jumping up! We stopped in the forest a couple of times to fill in water. Finally got to the destination !!!
Too beautiful for words, mouth-watering and heaps of photographs !!!
The farther in the more impressions, we got to the extreme venture-park Mishoko, all of us together decided to ride a trolley between two mountains (frankly, all of us had cold feet), I was the first to try the flight – had I been the second I would have never done it. Again breathtaking but no photos unfortunately …
The whole range of emotions - from fear (while you are being ’dressed’) then elated with flight - the sky is all around and somewhere way below are spruce trees, a river and then comes disappointment when the flight ends!
Next year we’ll go in for this venture again by all means.
Jeeping in the mountains
Joined the Fishing-maykop team for a trip in the mountains - wild leek and flower paradise!
Saw the incoming of spring, admired magnificent views, breathed in mountain air, ate vitamin salad.
Excellent rest on a day off work.
Thanks a lot !!!
